One Mage....One Wand...One Destiny

There comes a day when every Mage takes a good hard look at themselves and sees an empty space. A void that needs, yearns even, to be filled. When this point is reached, the Mage knows it is time to...

seek out a wand.

A wand is something invaluable to the highly trained Mage. Casting spells, charming objects, pointing and reading to a large assembly, and giving directions are all tasks made possible by...

a Mage's wand.

I recently went on a wand journey of my own. Now for those of you naive enough not to know the specifics of a Mage's wand journey, you should listen closely:

1. The Mage must choose an area (preferably wooded) to camp out for 2-4 weeks, searching among the branches for what may be a wand.

2. The Mage finds what looks like a stick, but actually may be a wand.

3. The Mage declares it their wand.

In the picture above, you can see me, captured at my first moment of wand-magic.

This is a big step, everyone....stay along for the ride.

It's going to be MAGETASTIC.

As this magical year comes to a close, I just thought I would come in and let you guys know what is going on with my mage journey. I have been working hard and have just completed my mage-final exams. I believe that I have made good marks. I have found a small boy on the street and I have decided to name him Scooter and raise him as my own magical offspring. I will train him and perhaps he will also follow in my footsteps and go into the Mage business as well. Scooter shows much promise, as he has already cast a spell on my heart...

Just a question for all you readers out there: Do you know if Argyle cancels out mage powers? Because I've been wearing it lately, and have donned Scooter in it as well and I have felt a large decrease in my mage-aura. Food for thought...Hmm...

I have recently been researching mage-friendly foods and products. I sadly have discovered that despite the widespread popularity of the Going Green movement, no one is following me in Going Mage. Perhaps I should buy some Ad time.

I am thinking of having a small Mage convention in the near future. Thoughts for a location? A Theme? I'm thinking Mage.

Till Next Time, Magetastic greetings and have a wonderful time with your families, casting spells on them to make sure they buy you what you want.

Eden, "The Mage"

More food for thought (you must be getting full, I know): Do you think Santa Claus is a mage? He and I certainly have many abilities in common. I'll have to look into this...

Prog-Blog # 1: Life-Changing Mage-Decision

Over the past week I have been spending most of my time perched upon my mage-chair, thinking.

These many hours thinking have resulted in a realization:

I can't go it alone.

Though many have attempted to reach magedom solo, none have ever succeeded. And though I am tempted to break this tradition by accomplishing this feat myself, I am a busy "Trainee to Be A Mage", and I simply don't have the time. So I decided...

I needed a mage coach.

I have sought out the best. The #1. The top dog. The top dollar. The ultimate. The cream of the crop. The apple of my eye. Four time olympic mage team coach.

Zacharius.

He will put me through the paces. He will push my 'til I can go on no more. He will test my limits, then break them like they were made of tempered glass! He will yell at me and insult me and make me feel so bad about myself that there will be nowhere to go but up! TO THE STARS.

I have utter confidence in my decision, and I have already started Mage-conditioning. This is the first real step on my journey. I have to leave my old life as a normal non-mage behind..
I know who I am now...

I am Eden.
And I am Training to Be a Mage!

The Beginning of A Journey

Today I start a long journey. A journey to master the art of magic and earn the right to be called a "mage". Over the weeks, months, and possibly even years, I will be tracking my progress as I gain more and more skill in sorcery. I'll be posting images, videos, tips, tricks, and advice as I traverse this windy, dark path that is the road to magedom.

Come along for the ride.
